철인3종 경기는 여러분의 관심과 노력, 그리고 전 세계인의 참여로 하계 올림픽 종목 중 가장 인기 있는 스포츠의 하나로 자리매김 하였고 국내 약 3만여명 이상의 등록 동호인이 활동하고 있는 명실상부생활체육 대표 종목으로 발돋움 하였습니다.
또한, 우리 협회는 1987년 창립 이후 지속적인 질적, 양적 성장을 이어가고 있으며 올림픽 정식종목 채택, 2014 아시안게임 메달 획득 등의 엘리트 체육 발전과 더불어 동호인 여러분의 깊은 관심과 적극적인 참여로 생활체육 대표 종목으로써의 위상을 높이고 있습니다.
협회는 앞으로 세계 수준의 선수 육성/발굴을 위해 유소년-청소년-엘리트 체육의 연결 고리를 강화하는 선진국형 관리 체계를 구축하고
생활체육 대회운영 시스템 개선을 통해 동호인 여러분께서 국제 대회 수준의 질 높은 환경에서 안전한 레이스를 즐길 수 있도록 대회 운영을 지속적으로 개선시켜 나갈 것입니다.
철인3종은 남녀노소 누구나 도전할 수 있는 생활체육 스포츠로 땀과 노력만 있다면 누구나 철인이 될 수 있는 가장 정직한 스포츠 종목 입니다. 협회는 앞으로도 엘리트, 생활체육의 균형 있는 발전과 종목 저변확대를 위해 지속적인 노력을 이어갈 것입니다.

Triathlon was established as one of the most popular sports events in the Summer Olympics with your interest, effort and the participation of people around the world. It has become a representative sports event with more than 30,000 registered club members in Korea.
Also, our federation has continued to grow qualitatively and quantitatively since it was founded in 1987, and has raised its status as a representative sports event with the deep interest and active participation of club members along with the development of elite sports such as adopting official Olympic events and winning medals at the 2014 Asian Games.
The Korea Triathlon Federation will continue to improve the operation of the competitions so that club members can enjoy safe races in a high-quality environment at the international level by establishing an advanced management system that strengthens the link between youth and elite sports.
Triathlon is sports for all, men and women of all ages, and is the most honest sports events that anyone can become an Iron Man with sweat and effort. The federation will continue to make efforts for the balanced development of elite and sports for all and to expand the base of sports.
